Homestead has been a family owned and operated business since the late 1960’s. The family patriarch, Earle “Whitey” Hager, offered mostly seasonal campsites and a wide variety of organized activities that provided many families with some very memorable experiences! Over the past decade Homestead redirected it’s focus to reclaiming the natural beauty of it’s 35 acres. Whether our customers were in a 40’ RV or a tent, we wanted to offer what seems to be an increasingly unique experience: hear the birds sing in the morning, see wildlife, watch wildflowers grow, catch crayfish in the creek. Swim in our spring-fed pool, catch fish in the pond, ride bikes, hike trails, climb rocks. Have the experience that every child should have and every adult should reconnect with. Help families and/or friends do what we have always done...make memories!
